From Africa With Love is a collection of stories and poetry touching on issues pertinent to the old or evolving African. They include love, culture, religion, patriotism amongst others.The cover story is set in the 80’s, and unravels the life and thoughts of an ambitious woman in her mid twenties “shipped” abroad to be a wife to a young professor by her sexist father in conspiracy with the man’s traditionalistic aunt. The young professor also has his side of the story to tell, and we find out what it really means to be From Africa With Love.
Temitope Ola-Sunmonu is a lawyer, environmentalist and writer in her early 30’s. She’s also the convener of a mobile group “The Lemonade Movement” powered by ideas that help the needy, uneducated and young people in the society. The group has organized literary/charitable programmes such as “Be inspired”, “Literature and the Young”, and “The Kings Book Club”. She is also a patriotic Nigerian, human Rights activist and anti-corruption crusader.
